Keeping Vehicle QR Contact Details Current

By Scan2Connect · Updated 2026-10-06 · Account help

A readable sticker can still be ineffective if the account’s contact details are outdated. Review your owner information when your email, phone or vehicle responsibility changes.

Check the account

Sign in using the recognised purchase account and review available profile and notification preferences. Confirm the current primary contact and direct-call choice. A changed email can affect login and notification delivery, so verify it carefully. Do not assume changing a delivery recipient also changes the vehicle’s account contact.

Retest after updates

Open the public page from a separate browser and test a legitimate alert with the owner’s agreement. Confirm receipt where notification delivery is configured. Keep private access links safe and ask support about changes the dashboard does not support. When selling a vehicle or transferring responsibility, follow an authorised reassignment process rather than simply handing over a password.

Choose the right page

The public vehicle contact page is for people reporting a relevant issue. The owner account and private receipt are for managing downloads and purchases. A digital QR costs ₹49 for one vehicle and a digital plus physical purchase costs ₹149 including shipping. If a fulfilled digital vehicle needs printing, use the ₹100 upgrade rather than buying another digital QR. Email access and notifications require working delivery; preserve a password or support recovery route instead of relying solely on an untested inbox.
